I pull the battery when the car is in storage. It is in storage for about 5 months each year. When the battery is out it is connected to a battery tender. Connect the battery with ignition OFF and all things in car to OFF (AC, radio, fan, lights, door light...), shifter in neutral or park. Turn the ignition ON without starting the engine.
